Two decades ago, a group of friends decided to take their vintage split-window VW Buses to the Lake Havasu shoreline for a weekend campout. Now, 22 years later, we have Lake Havasu Buses by the Bridge. Bus owners from literally every corner of the country come to Lake Havasu for three days of family-friendly fun and adventure.
Guests enjoy a lantern workshop, chili cook-off, live concert, and lantern walk on Friday, the 12th. There's a coloring contest and kids raffle on Saturday as well as a trip to the bike park and cornhole tournament. Things wind down with a pancake breakfast and awards on Sunday. It is also a great place to look for hard to find VW parts for your project! For a full schedule of events, please visit the Buses by the Bridge website
Do you own a classic VW Bus? Or do you just enjoy camping out? Stay in the thick of the Lake Havasu Buses by the Bridge action by camping out at the park. Stay overnight on Saturday for just $20. Make it a two-day stay (Friday & Saturday nights) for $30. Or, spend the entire time (Thursday through Sunday) for just $40. Tack on another $10 to each rate for RVs. It's first come first serve!
Space is limited to the first 500 people that show up. No registration is required. But, once every spot is filled, you'll be turned away. So, you'd better get there early.
