2016 AZOP Havasu Motocross Grand Prix Sara Park

Motocross racing has become one of the most popular sports in the US.  The track at our SARA Park offers ideal racing for amateurs and pros.  The 2016 AZOP Havasu Motocross Grand Prix revs up the action this Saturday.  It takes motocross racing to the extreme.

This weekend's 2016 AZOP Havasu Motocross Grand Prix offers full-size, mini, pee-wee and team racing.  You can come early to scout your perfect spot and watch the practices.  If you'd rather skip that, get to the park a little later...when the fun REALLY begins.

Gates open at 6am on the day of the 2016 AZOP Havasu Motocross Grand Prix.  Practice laps for bikes and ATVs will take place from 7:30am to 8:30am.  The Pee-Wee racers start at 9:45am and go until 9:55am (bike and ATV).

Team racing runs from 10:15am to 12:15pm.  Each team can have as many riders as they wish.  The only stipulation is that there needs to be a different rider for each lap of the race.  No one rider can race two laps in a row. This makes for some VERY interesting racing.

 

 

ATV minis compete from 12:30pm to 1:15pm while bike minis take the track from 1:30pm to 2:15pm.  The big bikes come out to challenge each other from 2:30pm to 3:20pm.  There will be a break in the races from 3:30pm to 4pm to allow a UTV practice session.  Then, the big ATVs will resume the challenge in their race from 4:10pm to 5pm.  The grand finale takes place with a battle royale featuring all UTVs from 5:10pm to 6pm.  It's a glorious sparring match that any "dirt dawg" will enjoy watching.

Come to SARA Park this Saturday, May 14th to watch these competitors vie for the title of top dog at the 2016 AZOP Havasu Motocross Grand Prix.  There will be bounce houses for the kids.
