I keep hearing about snow and cold weather hitting most of the rest of the country.  This only makes me happier that I live in Lake Havasu City!  Where else could you enjoy an outdoor event like the 3rd Annual Lake Havasu Grand Prix in December but right here?

The 3rd Annual, 2016 Lake Havasu Motocross Grand Prix

While most everyone else around the US stays indoors to keep warm, all you'll need is a light jacket to enjoy the 2016 Havasu Grand Prix.  The Motocross Park will fill up with high octane racing for two days this weekend.

Competitors traverse more than six miles of track that includes sand washes and an Enduro section among other obstacles. Racing is open to the public on Sunday so bring your bike, UTV or quad and have some fun!

You'll see motorcycles, quads and UTVs compete against each other for the ultimate prize at the 2016 Havasu Grand Prix. Come watch the practice session on Saturday from 9am to 1pm at the top track. Racing takes place from 11am to 1pm and 5pm to 7pm on Saturday and continues on Sunday from 6:30am to 11am.

Interested in showing off your racing chops?  Contact 928MX to register.  Fees run $50 for bikes and quads, $80 for UTVs, $40 for Youth and Pee-Wee riders and $100 for pros.  Everyone racing in the event receives a $10 gift card for Rocky Mountain ATV-MC.  

In between practices and racing, the Havasu Grand Prix offers some fun for spectators and their families.  Bounce houses and family-friendly activities take place off-track throughout both days.
