The 2017 Lake Havasu 5 Iron Tournament marks the fourth year in a row that the Kiwanis of Lake Havasu has hosted this fun event. Carrying around your clubs should be easy when all you need is your trusty 5 iron. The tournament runs a four person scramble at The Courses at London Bridge.
The tournament runs on the Old London course, the oldest course in Lake Havasu City. After the shotgun start at 7:30am, teams make their way through the par 71 course using only their 5 iron. That's right. Whether you're teeing off or putting, the only golf club allowed will be the 5 iron.
Tickets for the 2017 Lake Havasu 5 Iron Tournament run $50 per person. Your $50 fee includes a golf cart, the green fees and, of course, lunch afterward. Don't have a full four person team? Don't worry. You will be paired up with other teams who might be missing a player or two. Just let Hal Christiansen know whether you're going solo or you need players to complete your team.
Looking for a way to advertise your business or organization? Sponsorships are available for $100 a hole. Tee sponsorship is a great way to get your name out in the public. Contact Hal for more information.
