The IJSBA Blowsion World Finals Return to Lake Havasu City for 2018

The US Freestyle PWC Championship just wrapped up in Lake Havasu City. Now, one of the events Lake Havasu residents look forward to the most in the fall comes to us courtesy of IJSBA. The 2018 Blowision World Finals hits our Havasu community at the end of the month. I can't think of a better way to usher in the fall season than with some sick tricks out on the water.

Athletes from around the world compete in the 2018 Blowsion World Finals. The first two days (September 29th and 30th) are primarily for trial runs. October 1st is scheduled as a day-long practice session for all competitors. Actual competition heats begin on Tuesday, October 2nd.

At 6 pm on Saturday, October 6th, you'll want to be somewhere where you can view the Bridgewater Channel. Why? Because that's when the Pro Freestyle Expo takes place. If you thought the Blowsion World Finals competition was fierce, the Pro Freestyle Expo takes it to a whole other level. Definitely, a sight to see!

 

Admission to the 2018 Blowsion World Finals is absolutely free for spectators. Bleacher seating is available on a first come-first served basis. So, you might want to get there early. They fill up fast. It's always a good idea to bring a lawn chair and/or blanket from home for your comfort (and in case you don't make the cutoff for seating).

 

Parking for the Blowsion World Finals can be found just past the Crazyhorse Campground's main entrance, on Beachcomber Blvd. A shuttle transports you from the parking area to the competition area. Spectators won't be charged a fee to park between September 29th and October 2nd. On October 3rd and 4th, you must pay $10 per vehicle. After the 4th, parking costs $20 per vehicle. Weekend passes are available for $40 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). If you want to be in the thick of the action October 5th through the 7th, save yourself $20 and pay for a weekend pass.

Lake Havasu provides rest and relaxation or a raucous good time. It all depends on which you prefer. For the 2018 Blowsion World Finals, it's most definitely a raucous good time.
