Havasu Palooza Country Music Boating Festival
Lake Havasu provides endless hours of entertainment. Boating, jetskiing, parasailing, tubing, swimming, and floating. So many opportunities to enjoy what the lake has to offer. The lake helps quell some of the heat we feel throughout the hottest of times. What could make it even better? How about a concert right on the lake? That's what happens at the 2018 Havasu Palooza Country Music Boating Festival.

Our hottest month in Lake Havasu City is July. We've already begun to cool down a little in August. By mid-September, we're usually out of the triple digits. But it's still plenty warm enough to enjoy the lake. That makes it the perfect time for the 2018 Havasu Palooza Country Music Boating Festival. Organizers will set up a floating stage outside Beach Shack Rentals right next to London Bridge Beach. Maps & Directions
Forget about getting out of the water. Enjoy a live concert from several fantastic country bands while aboard your own boat, personal watercraft or float. If you'd prefer to stay on dry land, the floating stage will be set up just off the shoreline. Pull up a beach chair or set down a blanket and listen in comfort.
Saturday is concert day. Currently, the musical line-up includes Brad Johnson & the Killin' Time Band, Redneck Rodeo, Chris Lozano & the Dixie Playboys, and Tina Michelle & the Rhinestone Cowboys. Organizers are still busy booking other musical acts. So, don't be surprised if a few more take the stage.
Bands are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., and up to 4 bands may perform until 5:30 p.m. The event ends at 5:30 p.m., at which time the PWCs and patrol boats will assist boaters in exiting the event area. Sunset is scheduled for 6:44 p.m. on the event day.
A shuttle boat will patrol to provide mooring occupants rides to the shore to utilize restrooms or to enjoy the floating area.
Sunday's the day to kick back and unwind. Boaters are welcome to meet up, shop the vendors, and visit with others in the Lake Havasu boating community. There will also be a "Steamboat Sunday Boaters Meetup". No bands, just the boating community hanging out recovering/unwinding having a good time with family and friends.
Several food and beverage vendors will set up on shore both days offering snacks, treats, beer, and other tasty cuisine. Since this is a country music BOATING festival, you're going to see boat vendors along the shoreline, too. Bring cash with you. Not every vendor accepts cards and ATMs will not be available.
