Relics and Rods to Host The 44th Annual Run to the Sun Car Show in Lake Havasu City
From Charlie Ryan's "Hot Rod Lincoln" to Thomas Rhett's "That Old Truck". Songs about taking your car and your love out for a drive have been around for decades. For many of us, getting our driver's license allowed us that first bit of freedom to go anywhere and do anything. Celebrate the vehicles that you owned or just admired in years past at the Havasu Relics and Rods Run to the Sun 2022 Car Show and Cruise.

The weekend's events kick off with the Main Street Cruise-In on Thursday. From 5 pm to 9 pm, downtown Lake Havasu's Main Street (aka McCulloch Blvd N) fills up with vintage vehicles as well as some of the most amazing cars on the road today. Make sure you bring your camera so you can take photos of your favorites.
On Friday and Saturday, these cars make their way to Bridgewater Links at the London Bridge Resort. There, they sit on full display for the public to check out up close and personal from 8 am to 4 pm each day. Learn the history of each vehicle from its owner. See what goes into restoring and maintaining these hot rods, muscle cars, hippie vans, and more. Dozens of vendors set up shop at the swap meet. If you need an automotive part or want to add some "pizazz" to your vehicle, visit those vendors!
The weekend's event closes out with a pancake breakfast provided by the Cub Scout Troop #992. Breakfast is free, but donations are always accepted. Then, go watch Run to the Sun participants cruise down Main Street one last time this year at 9:30 am. The parade route runs from Birch Square to Capri. Be aware of the times for both the opening night and closing parades because traffic around Main Street tends to be busy.
If you own a classic car or truck that you want to show off at the Havasu Relics and Rods Run to the Sun, online registration is closed. However, you may register in person from 8 am to 5 pm on Thursday or 8 am to 4 pm on Friday at the London Bridge Resort's Convention Center.
