AMX AZ Motocross Championships Havasu

There is more to Lake Havasu City than the lake. We are surrounded by thousands of acres of BLM land and open desert ready to be explored. Dirt Dogs use ATVs, UTVs, buggies, Jeeps, trucks and dirt bikes to probe every inch of the desert. If you love "dirt season" in the desert, you might want to watch when the AMX AZ Motocross Championships come to Havasu next weekend.

AMX AZ Motocross Championships

Do you love the smell of burning rubber and flying dirt?  Are you looking for high octane excitement?  Visit SARA Park on October 15th and 16th for the AMX AZ Motorcross Championship Series.  Some of the best motocross racers from all over the country converge on Lake Havasu City to compete in Round 2 of the Arizona State Championships.  Saturday, October 15th is practice day.  The public is invited to watch the racers put their dirt bikes through their paces in preparation for the races on Sunday, the 16th.  Gates open at 6:30am on race day.  Get there early to secure a good seat to watch these competitors brake check each other, roost the guys behind them and whip their bikes high up in the air.

 

 

Not all the action at the AMX AZ Motocross Championships happens on the track.  Spectators can wander around the vendor area to check out the latest gear.  Let the little guys loose at the Pee Wee track (ages 4+).  Not ready for motorcycles yet?  They can play in the bounce house instead.  Food vendors keep your bodies fueled for the day.

Several raffles will be held throughout the weekend for fun prizes.  Dry camping is available for free on Friday and Saturday only.
