Back in January, the Colorado River Pro-Teams Bass Tournament came to Lake Havasu City for their second round of four sessions in our city this season. Next month, they host their third in town. If you participated in their tournament in December or January, you need only join one more to be eligible for the official "fish off" in June.
Now, you don't have to be a member to be part of the competition. Your $270 fee grants you entry into the big fish contest. Enter the largest smallmouth challenge for $20 extra. Whoever catches the biggest smallmouth bass wins the entire pot for that portion of the competition.
The top four entries in the main Colorado River Pro-Teams Bass Tournament 2018 win a portion of the pot. So, the more people who enter, the bigger the pay out. Wondering how much that could be? If 20 boats enter, the top catch wins $1800. Not bad for a day's work on the lake, right?
To register, contact Colorado River Pro-Teams at (928) 692-5086 or via email largemouth@frontier.com. All anglers are welcome, no matter their skill level. Good luck!
