Full Throttle Water X Series to Hold Final Race of the Season on Lake Havasu at Havasu Landing Resort and Casino
With more than 300 days of sunshine a year. summers at Lake Havasu last much longer than just about anywhere else in the country. By September, the water heats up to a nice, warm temperature. That makes the lake a great place to host watercraft races. And that is exactly what Full Throttle Water X brings to the lake next month.
- What: Full Throttle Water X 2022
- Where: Havasu Landing Resort & Casino (1 Main St, Havasu Lake, CA) - Maps & Directions
- When: September 9th to 11th
Located on the California side of Lake Havasu, Havasu Landing Resort & Casino hosts Full Throttle Water X. The September session marks the final racing of the season for the Full Throttle series. Dozens of PWC (personal watercraft) riders show off their acrobatic skills as well as their racing acumen throughout the weekend. Both men and women compete in several categories, including stock, 4-stroke, vintage, modified, runabout, and grand prix. But if you can only make it to one event this weekend, you definitely do not want to skip the freestyle portion. That always makes the crowds roar with excitement.
Now, if you drive to Havasu Landing to watch the racing take place, it will take you just over an hour to get there. However, if you plan on playing out on the water that weekend, just take a short jaunt across the lake. Havasu Landing Resort is about three miles directly west of Lake Havasu City (as the crow flies). But watch out for the buoys marking the "racetrack". As long as you stay a decent distance away from them, you can watch the racing from your boat. Maps & Directions
