The Kiwanis Club 5 Iron Golf Tournament in Lake Havasu City
Pine Valley in New Jersey. Cypress Point in Pebble Beach. Shinnecock Hills in Southampton. The Lake Havasu Golf Club? OK. So the last one may not rank as high as those other three. But golfers love playing through the fairway on this course. The Kiwanis Club of LHC invites golfers of all skill levels to join them for their annual Havasu 5 Iron Golf Tournament to help them raise money for their philanthropic endeavors.

A golfer usually carries at least 14 clubs in their bag when they play. A driver, a putter, wedges, woods, irons. You need to be prepared for whatever the day (and course) has in store for you. But, why lug this heavy bag around the course when you really only need one? That is the thinking behind the Kiwanis 5 Iron Golf Tournament.
The tournament works on a 4-person scramble format. So grab three of your best mates and sign up as a team. Don't have three other friends who want to participate? That's OK. They'll put you on a team when you show up on the day of the event. It costs just $65 per person ($55 if you are a Lake Havasu Golf Club member). With your fee, you get a golf cart rental and lunch.
