Lake Havasu Boat Parade of Lights
We love the water here in Lake Havasu City. Even when temperatures start to dip a bit, we enjoy time spent on the lake. The first weekend in December, the London Bridge Yacht Club hosts their annual Lake Havasu Boat Parade of Lights for 2016. Boat owners around the city decorate their skiffs, pontoons, cabin cruisers, catamarans, houseboats, jet skis and other watercraft in festive lights and decorations. Then, they parade them through the Bridgewater Channel for the public to enjoy.
Would you like to join the Lake Havasu Boat Parade of Lights 2016? All you have to do is own a watercraft of any size or type, register for the parade and decorate as you see fit. This year's theme is "Bright Ideas". The sky's the limit as far as decorating is concerned. You are only bound by your imagination.

Not in the mood to decorate? Get into the spirit of the holidays by watching the Lake Havasu Boat Parade of Lights 2016 instead. The parade starts at the Nautical Beachfront Resort. This also happens to be a great spot to see the boats float by. Other areas that provide great viewing include Rotary Park, anywhere along either side of the Channel, in the English Village or on London Bridge itself. Stay warm and cozy by making dinner reservations at one of the restaurants along the Channel.

Park for free in the English Village parking lot or on the Island. Come early, though. Traffic tends to pick up in the area on these nights. Bring the family. Have fun. Merry Christmas!
