Lake Havasu Desert Fireworks Shootout
One of the great things about living in the desert happens to be the clear skies above. We aren't encumbered by large buildings or industrial complexes. Our lower population keeps pollution at bay. Add to that the fact that we are surrounded by thousands upon thousands of undeveloped BLM land. That makes for some spectacular star viewing at night. What better backdrop is there for the Lake Havasu Desert Fireworks Shootout?
Daytime hours are strictly for members of the AZ Pyrotechnic Association. Choose between purchasing fireworks at the site or bringing your own. Some of the fireworks available for sale at the Lake Havasu Desert Fireworks Shootout 2016 include: roman candles, aerials, rockets and mortar shells. You can also stop by Round Eyes Fireworks to stock up ahead of time.
At 9pm each night, the event holders host a demo show for the public. For just $5 per adult, spectators are treated to some of the best displays of pyrotechnics around. Park for free at the Havasu Speedway. In the mood for a snack or drink? Food vendors will be happy to take your order. Food and beverages are not included in the price of your ticket. So, make sure you bring some cash with you.
Shooters should stop by the Round Eyes Fireworks office at 2115 McCulloch Blvd #2 to register ahead of time. Your $60 fee includes membership in the AZ Pyrotechnic Association, a requirement to shoot fireworks of this magnitude. Procrastinators pay $75 at the gate. Don't delay. Sign up today!
