Well, you might want to leave the real bronco ridin' to the pros. There will be plenty of those to see during this two-day event. Come watch professional cowboys and cowgirls show off their talents with bareback riding, steer wrestling, bull riding, calf roping, and more. And say "hi" to the lovely rodeo queens. The rodeo takes place from 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Yes, the pros know their way around a real live 1500 lb steer. That may be more than a little intimidating (and very dangerous) for an average Joe or Jane. But even the little ones can hop aboard the mechanical bull to test their skills. In fact, there are tons of fun activities for the entire family to enjoy during the Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo and Little Delbert Days. For the tamer set, try the pony rides. Come see all the farm animals at the petting zoo. Practice your skills in the roping arena. Pan for gold. Flex your muscle on the climbing wall. Or just let the kids loose in the bounce houses.
Additionally, try your luck to win a great prize at the cupcake walk. Get an old-timey family portrait done by a professional photographer. Pan for gold. Plus, kids can race against each other with at the "Little Tuff" tractor races. There's so much for everyone to enjoy here. And it all comes with the price of admission!
Grab the family and head out to the Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo and Little Delbert Days event on January 28th and 29th. It's fun that the whole family can enjoy together!
