9th Annual Monster Storm Poker Run in Lake Havasu City

The Lake Havasu Monster Storm Poker Run (Formerly Monster Bash) is like most poker runs. Competitors race around the lake from destination to destination, gathering up cards to create their poker hand. But at a monster poker run, we're mixing Halloween and boating and costumes are encouraged! In addition to the top three poker hands winning a prize, the top three costumes receive cash prizes, too. Coordinate your team or stand out on your own. It doesn't matter.
Festivities begin at Kokomo's with a pool party get together for participants and fans alike on Friday, October 12th, from 3 pm to 5 pm. From 7 pm to 11 pm, head up to the London Bridge Resort's Martini Bay Patio for the check-in welcome party. Can't make it out for the pre-storm parties? You can check-in on Saturday at 8 am in the lower backyard of London Bridge Resort. A mandatory driver's meeting follows at 8:30 am. Then, the Lake Havasu Monster Storm Poker Run officially starts at 10 am.
Five stations have been set up around the lake for runners to stop at. Pick up one card from each station to create your best hand. This isn't a race, per se. Take your time and visit the card stops in any order you wish. Just make sure you turn in your cards at Kokomo by 5:30 pm.
After you're done gathering your cards, hang out at Kokomo's lower pool until 5 pm. The costume bash begins at 7 pm in the conference center. Awards will be handed out there. Then, dance the night away until midnight at the closing party. Sunday will be left open for final family fun and traveling home.
All ages and boat types allowed. You can purchase additional poker hands for $20 each. Every team entry includes admission for two adults, including two poker hands and commemorative T-shirts. Additional adult crew members cost $60 per person. Add on a child crew member for $25 each. All entries received before October 5th cost $350 per team After that, you'll pay $400.
