The 2016 Havasu Relics and Rods Run to the Sun Car Show
More than 800 classic car owners showcase their vintage hot rods to the public for three days. The 2016 Havasu Relics and Rods Run to the Sun event starts off Thursday, October 20th with Cruise Night along McCulloch Blvd. All participants line their vehicles up along the road from 5pm to 9pm so that spectators can inspect each vehicle up close and personal. Nothing made after 1972 makes it into this show.
The fun continues with the 2016 Havasu Relics and Rods Run to the Sun Show and Shine from 8am to 4pm on Friday and Saturday. These cars have been trucked in from all over the country. Talk to their owners to learn the history of each vehicle. Vendors offer gear and more to shoppers. Don't forget to purchase your Engine raffle and 50/50 drawing tickets. Special giveaways take place throughout they day both Friday and Saturday.
The London Bridge Resort hosts a fun dinner and sock hop beginning at 5pm on Friday evening. The Rockin' Relics perform classic hits from the 50's and 60's. Catch one last glimpse of these beauties in motion as they parade down Main St around 9am on Saturday. Please be aware that regular traffic will still be allowed on McCulloch Blvd during the parade. Not everyone at the 2016 Havasu Relics and Rods Run to the Sun will participate either. So, to see all the cars, you're going to need to visit the resort's convention center. At 10am, the resort hosts a Disney-themed fashion show.

All proceeds from the 2016 Havasu Relics and Rods Run to the Sun benefit local charities. In fact, the club has already donated $5000 to the Western Arizona Humane Society last week from money raised so far. You can help them donate more by coming to the Run to the Sun.
