They have snow in the northwest. Snow and chilly weather covers the east coast. Rain hit California really hard the last couple of weeks. However, we in Lake Havsasu experience sunny skies and relatively mild temperatures. That's why we get to enjoy an outdoor event like the Havasu Winterfest in February.
The Havasu Winterfest 2017 features over 200 vendors from all over the US in more than 400 booths along McCulloch Blvd. Street traffic gets shut down during festival hours on both days. Here, you'll find handcrafted jewelry and leather goods, clothing, artwork, home goods and more. Since Valentine's Day will be right around the corner at that time, maybe you should pick up something special for your sweetie? If you have an anniversary, birthday, housewarming party or other gift-giving day coming up, the Havasu Winterfest would be a great place to pick up a one-of-a-kind present.
But the Lake Havasu Winterfest offers so much more than shopping. In addition to the vendors, guests get treated to live entertainment from local talent. Children will enjoy the pony rides and other kid-friendly activities. Don't forget to visit the car show. And no street fair would be complete without great fair food! Dozens of food vendors offer a plethora of culinary masterpieces to satiate your hunger. Adults can wash it down with a nice, cold beer from the beer garden.
Parking for the Havasu Winterfest 2017 can be found for free all along Swanson and Mesquite. So come have a blast at Havasu Winterfest and see why we call Lake Havasu City paradise!

Vintage camping trailers have become all the rage lately. Moving around in one of those million dollar buses gets expensive. Yet, pitching a pup tent and camping on the cold hard ground can wear your bones out. Vintage trailers make for a happy compromise. At the Lake Havasu Vintage Trailer Campout 2017, you can show off your camper and have fun with other like-minded individuals.
The Lake Havasu Vintage Trailer Campout marks the third year this event has been in existence. Each year, we see more and more vintage trailer enthusiasts at the park. This is a dry camping event. No hookups will be available. Make sure you bring everything with you. Showers and restrooms will be available on-site.
It's a BYOH&D (bring your own hors d'oeuvres to share and something to drink for yourself) at 6pm on Friday night. That's when the official meet and greet takes place. Saturday night is potluck night at 5pm. Everybody is welcome to greet the day with coffee in the general group meeting area. These events are exclusively meant for the campers.
The general public will be allowed to come see the campers from 10am to 3pm on Friday and Saturday only. Spectators must park at 171 London Bridge Rd, between the Hampton Inn and the London Bridge Shopping Center. See Map)
Dogs will be allowed at the Lake Havasu Vintage Trailer Campout. However, they must be on a leash. No pets on the beach. On Sunday, participants can visit the local swap meet nearby. Several hiking trails are located in the vicinity as well.
